When researching your North American tribe, find out the following information. Use the graphic organizer (attached) to help guide your research. You MUST use 3 different sources for information.
- Habitat: Where is your tribe located (you must include the United States cultural region your tribe lives in – see Chapter 3 in History Alive, as well as the geographic details)
- Homes: What types of homes did (does) your group live in?
- Clothing: How did (does) your group dress?
- Food: What did (does) your group grow/hunt/eat?
- Customs: What kinds of festivals, ceremonies, sports, and games did (does) your group participate in?
- Artifacts: What kinds of tools, weapons, and art did (does) your group have?
- Who are some famous Native Americans in your group and what are they famous for? Other interesting/important facts.
